  After 7 years spent  as the Director of the France Telecom Orange Laboratory in Sophia Antipolis where he supervised the R&D for  the first  Orange M2M ans “Smart City” services,  Laurent Londeix is currently the Orange Regional Director for Provence Côte d’Azur and the President of the « Secured Communicating Solutions » Cluster of Excellence (Pôle de Compétitivité SCS).

  As President of the Telecom Valley association, he was involved in 2005 in the creation of this Cluster and has since been working do develop ICT innovation and collaborative research in the region.

  Laurent Londeix is also Vice President of the regional start-ups incubator and Associate Member of the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  He has held various managing positions in the telecom industry over the last 25 years:

  -       CIO of Intelig, a Brazilian long distance operator,

  -       Billing and CRM Project Director for Telkom SA in South Africa,

  -       International Business Development manager for Sofrecom Software activity,

  -       Product Manager for USWEST in Denver, USA, for an electronic bill payment system,

  -       Corporate Sales Manager in Paris for France Telecom.

  Laurent Londeix has an EDHEC-Theseus MBA and a Telecom Engineering degree from INT (French National Institute of Telecommunications)
